@gizmogal  When I was in elementary school, I had to eat in the cafeteria. We lived too far to walk home for lunch. Every day for eight years, they served windmill cookies as our dessert. They were so good. I still love them. Very nostalgic cookie for me. Thanks for the memory.

I really only like the cookies I make. I rarely eat them, but enjoy making them for friends/family.   If I needed to purchase, it would be Trader Joe's Trail Mix.

Mothers brand macaroon cookies.  I dont see them in stores anymore but I love them.

All the Fresh Market cookies are good, and they are made in house. My absolute favorite commercial cookie is Stouffer's ginger snaps, simple but so good:

@froggy   Pinwheels are my favorite too.  I have a package in my cabinet and a backup package in the pantry.  They are sometimes hard to find but I did find a store brand at Walmart that is similar.  My next favorite would be oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.  Keeblers used to have an oatmeal/choc chip/coconut cookie and it was my fave when they were still available.

Honestly, they are not allowed in the house, but I could wolf down Lorna Doones, Nutter Butters, and Peppermint Milanos.  Vanilla wafers are excellent, too (the kind with creme inside a waffle-like biscuit).

DH likes oatmeal raisin.  I sometimes buy them singly at Wegmans as a treat for him.
