My favorite salad consists of : Red Leaf Lettuce, Sliced Pears, Walnuts and Gorgonzola Cheese with a Viniagrette Dressing ( Raspberry, Fig or Balsamic).

I make us salad quite often.  Nothing fancy, leaf lettuce, onions, radishes, sweet peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes and sometimes mushrooms.  I like a variety of dressings some bottled and some I make.  At times I add tuna, or slices of steak or shrimp and olives too.  No garbonza beans for me.

3 kinds of lettuce: Bibb, red leaf, and crispy iceberg, fresh sliced strawberries, green onions, butter croutons, cucumbers and sliced grapes, with blue cheese crumbles and creamy blue cheese dressing.

Have to be 'inthe mood' for salads.  Often do salads or pizza when it's time to clean out those items in the fridge.....

I love all these salad suggestions.  Inspiring.  I like salads with lots of ingredients.  Chinese chicken salad is good too but it has to have the proper sesame oil dressing.

Did you know that July 4 was the 100th birthday of the cesar salad?  It was first prepered in Tijuana, Mexico 100 years ago.  On 4th of July we were fortunate the restaurant in which we were eating featured cesar salad.

My favorite salad is potato , pasta , or macaroni salads
I like garden salads w/ mixture varying lettuces along with iceberg, tomato, cheeses , sliced red onion , cucumber, sometimes w/ deli turkey and ham strips
Scoop of chicken or ham salads ( sandwich or w/ crackers) ,
Coleslaw
