I LOVE❤ salad, and have it several times per week. I enjoy carrot raisin salad, cucumber salad, Chef's salad and Caesar salad with extra Parmesan cheese and garlic butter croutons.😊 I also like meatless taco salad, potato salad at cookouts and some holidays.  I am looking for new ideas, especially a good seafood salad.!!🥰 

What are some of your FAVORITES and how do you prepare them?

I like all the ones you mentioned.  Love mayo based salads like coleslaw and potato, but I stay away from them as they are too calorie laden for me.

In this hot weather I like to make a big salad for dinner (greens, avocado, tomato, croutons, cucumber, carrots, etc.)  I add cold chicken from a store bought rotisserie chicken.    For a low cal dressing I add some salsa. Delicious!

@SandySparkles   #1- Spinach salad w/boiled egg, 3 different types of cheeses, purple onion, peppercorns, croutons topped w/sweet vidalia onion vinagerette.

#2 tie - My mother's & Amish potato salads.

#3 - Paramour's shrimp salad (eating now).

Different varieties of lettuce, tomatoes, olives and different cheeses with a dressing of olive oil, vinegar and some salt. It is how my father made salad and I carried on the tradition!  I do not use bottled dressing nor did he.

@spiderw  Sounds like a meatless Italian hoagie.  The only other thing missing is the Italian hoagie roll.

@SandySparkles  Mixture of sharp, chedder & mozerella which comes in 1 package.  Sometimes I get the 3 cheese taco mix.

@spiderw Welcome!🥰 I like that this is a simple salad so it will come together quickly!😁 Fresh is ALWAYS best; especially dressings. Some of the bottled versions are just too laden with strange tastes and ingredients!😊
