I do the same thing. Additionally when I have a timer set for food prep, i.e. turn the food, food is done, etc. I think what can I get done in that time. Sometimes it works sometimes not lol.
@rockygems123 Excellent tips- kitchen timers are the best! They keep me on track and make me do more in a certain amount of time. I have had some timer mishaps though! Sometimes I set multiple kitchen timers if I'm cooking different things- which doesn't always work out if I forget which timer is set for each dish . I run into a kitchen with two or three timers going off and I look back and forth at the timers like I'm watching a ping pong match .
Ha! My kitchen timer is the Amazon Show, have them throughout the house. I'll tell it to set timer for "Turn" or "Add vegetables", various commands to keep my wits about me.

LocknLocks everywhere for freshness both in cupboards and refrigerators. Really extends the life of food.
Alternating ready made & home made regularly. No guilt.
The house was already built, so it's not my design but the efficient triangle appliance set-up saves so much time. . Refrigerator dishwasher stove / range perfect distance from each other.
Love the Oster French Doors we call it the "Easy Bake" oven ha. We have the large normal size convection oven stove but never use it as the easy bake sits on the counter with the light on constantly, easy to see the food cook and adjust if necessary. Quicker cooking too.
@rockygems123 Welcome!🥰 I concur about using LockNLock because it does keep foods fresher longer, and can help keep cupboards ORGANIZED! I LOVE for that reason!❤ Alternating ready made for homeade is a VERY useful tip when you are short on time!😄 Countertop ovens are a GREAT idea and can make a HUGE difference when it is warm in the house or because the heater is on!👍
THANK you SO much for caring to share yoour best tips today!🤗

That Oster is especially handy dandy on the countertop, the light stays on the entire time it is cooking. It's own little light show ha.
And I'm not even going to mention I have the Ninja dual oven on another part of the counter. Have to say it makes the best toast I've ever had besides everything else it does.

@rockygems123 Welcome back!🥰 😂😂😂 I can tell that you LOVE❤ your ovens!!!😂😂 I think it is SO cool that one of your countertop ovens has a stay lit feature that allows you to view your food without the need to open the door and potentially release heat unnecessarily!😁 Ninja has SO many GREAT quality products; some of which have been listed here, and I am glad you REALLY enjoy yours!😊
THANK you SO much for caring to share this extra information!🤗

@SandySparkles My kitchen hack........
If needed **once a month**
To clean my countertop convection oven I use
Spray, wait 20 minutes & wipe clean.
Steak & hamburger can really grease up a countertop oven.
===============================
Cooking hack......
Add salt or oil to water when boiling eggs. When done, tap eggs on counter or sink. The shells will slide right off.
If you like boiled eggs in your salad, use a boiled egg slicer. Put the egg in horizontally---slice. Turn sliced egg around & slice again across the slices. Now you have nice "diced" eggs for your salad.

If you can clean as you are cooking. Makes after meal clean up really quick. I've known my husband for 37 years. We have been married 34 years. I will never get him to understand this.

I use parchment paper, I don't like to use the nonstick spray. And it makes clean up better.
@Mz iMac I'm going to use the salt or oil when making hard boiled eggs! What a great idea!
@SportyShorty07 Love your reward idea💕. I would give myself many rewards!😂
