Interestingly, I was just watching an episode from this year's "Great British Baking Show" and was reminded that most Brits say "peek-uns" or even "peek-un nuts." One of the contestants was joking that he was making something fancy, so he was going to use the "posh" pronunciation of "pe-CAHNS" instead. ![]()

CT here. Those are definitely Pee-Cans. If I ever said Pah-Conns in public, I'd get some pretty strange looks. Like maybe I'm having a stroke? 😆
