My SIL's and I were discussing this at Easter. I would have to list:

1.  A pie crust bag

It takes pie crust making from tears to no fears!

2. Holding mashed potatoes in a slow cooker on warm for 2 hours or more before a holiday dinner. My co-worker told me about this a few years ago, and it reduced the stress level of holiday dinners by 40%!

@QVCkitty1 Yes, agree about the microplane and the pull chopper. I have only had my kitchenaid for a few years. Before that I had a mixer my neighbor was going to throw away.

@Kitlynn Sharp knives are essential! My husband was a butcher in his teen years, so he keeps my knives sharp.
