Well, I got my long desired Curtis Stone set. Why no sautes?

I let the box sit here for a couple months, thinking it would be a nice Christmas surprise.  Yesterday I just couldn't stand it anymore so I opened it.  I'm surprised how big and heavy these things are, I got the wok shape and the larger skillet set with one lid.  I haven't used it yet, have to wait until DH goes somewhere (maybe not until pandemic is over) as these pans are blue and he will notice.  He thinks I have way too many pans now, as storage space is short.  I still wish Curtis Stone would make a 10 to 12 inch saute with straight sides, I don't know why he doesn't believe in them.  I burn through those like crazy, have you ever seen the pans in a restaurant that get used a lot?  Well, that's me with my favorite pans.

Best skillets are at Sam's Club, aluminum, comes in 8. 10, and 12 in.

The Curtis Stone cookware is the best I've ever used.  Nothing else comes close in terms of quality and cleanup (in my experience.)  His new TS is up and available.   I have already ordered!

@depglass  congratulations. They are the best. When he first started at HSN I bought so many pieces from him, but my favorite color was red.

I love cookware. What we did was put a large pegboard (I think that's what it's called) on one side of the kitchen wall and hang about 30 pieces of different cookware from hooks. This way I didn't have to bend and look in the cupboards. All I had to do is reach up and grap that I needed.

All you have to do is have your husband use one of the pieces and he will be hooked.

Mine are over 5 years old and used often. I cook all the time and they still look great. The only one that looks used is the extra large surface Multipan. I can't see the marbling anymore;  but it's still in use and has not failed me. I really like this brand.

I swear by CS, too.

Thanks for mentioning the TS. But there's something strange. I've never seen these pans before, but they have feedback dating from September of this year. Every review refers to "this pan" or otherwise suggests a single item. What's being sold is a set of 3 pans. The ratings aren't imported from another site. Do you know what might account for this?

A big seller is their Durapan Multipan. It's a larger surface pan. It is often a TS and what sold me on these pans. After using that one I bought his set. Maybe people were reviewing that one.

I have lots of his cookware, including both depths of the Multipan. It's big, with a stainless exterior, and lidded. It would be hard to confuse it with a square, painted frypan with one slanted side. Five people wouldn't make the identical error.
