Weber electric grill for outdoor

If some one has this, how do you like it?

I have had 2 (not Weber) each one lasted about a year and then stopped getting hot. When new each was ok. I think one was G. Foreman.

They are fine for most everything and do a pretty good job "searing" things too.  You can get a nice smokey flavor with the Weber too.  The only reason I would recommend getting an electric grill would be if you can't have a traditional grill. They do not get as hot as charcoal or propane.  If you are using it let's say once a weekl all year round, it will have to get replaced about every two years or so.

Hauling those propane tanks ,to and from,is getting old ,69 yrs old.

Just saw this.  Could you have a gas pipe laid in to hook up to.  If you have gas heat like we do, it would be qiite easy.
