I am considering the KitchenAid 13 cup with the dicing kit. As I age, dicing veggies is getting more difficult. It is a good price right now, 6 easy pays and free S&H. Would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks.

In my opinion Cuisinart is the cadillac of food processors. It is what you see all the chefs on TV using. I even have a citrus juicer attachment and an attachment to make fresh pasta. I use it a lot.

Another vote for Cuisinart.

Voted best food processor was 11 c Cuisinart by America Test Kitchens.
My KA died after 3.5 years😤
I love my Cuisinarts both mini-chopper & 11 c style. I don't need all those "fancy" slicing thickness options (newer KA).
in fact, if I remember correctly it was ranked 3 out of 5 on America Test Kitchen.

I JUST GOT THE DICING KIT THAT FITS ON ALL KA MIXERS, I ALREADY HAVE AN OLD 12 CUP KA FP I NEVER USE AND A 9 CUP ADJUSTABLE ONE, I AM HOPING THEY COME OUT WITH A BIGGER SIZE DICER BLADE, I USE MY KUHN RIKON SLICER DICER MORE THAN ANYTHING, ITS SO GREAT, WITH DIFFERENT SIZE DICING BLADES, HANDY WITH A BROKEN ARM TOO.

i vote for kitchen aid. i have the fp you are talking about and we love it. my wife has hand issues so the chopping kit works really well and super fast. she makes a hugh soup. all vegis are chopped in under a minute. first time we watched it we couldnt believed how fast it was.i make pie crust in it and all other stuff works really well. its worth the great price and free shipping is alllways a plus.

I like that KA diciing attachment too.
but I have a Cuisinart that is at least 20 years old could be more, it's doubtful that a new one will give me that much life now.
when/if it goes not sure what I might do

Another vote for cuisinart. I researched for about 2 months (I know, I'm just like that) ,I found that for me, the cuisinart had the slicing blades and quality that I wanted. Looking through the reviews on Amazon and YouTube, the kitchenaid didn't do so well in terms of slicing and longevity. Having said, I'm always scared that I'm going to accidentally chop off a digit with these food processors because their blades are so sharp!

Wish I had my walmart Oster back it's a lot easier to use and faster then the 250 KA. By the time I fight with the lid to get it EXACTLY where it has to go to run and force cabbage down the chute in shards I'm wore out. LOL
I gave it to sister wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I have a Cuisinart and a wide mouth triple bowl KA processor. I use both but I would go for the Cuisinart. I have put that Cuisinart through H-E-L-L and it just keeps on going. The KA is nice if you need to work in a couple of different bowls at the same time but there is a learning curve to be able to do it fast. I usually end up reaching for the Cuisinart.
