Re: WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE CHEESE?

So many great cheese out there. We love cheese, we have all sorts in many forms, sliced, shred, chunk life feta, blue, gorgonzola. I gotta say though a big fav of mine is extra sharp, vermont sharp, white or yellow. either/or. I love the bite, the sharpness. It's just good.

Hi @HerRoyalLioness,
We live in SE Wisconsin & often go to Mars Cheese Castle in Kenosha, just off I94. Love browsing & they used to have so many samples (not sure about samples now with Covid). DH stocks up on cheese curds. Try it out if it is anywhere near you!

Re: WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE CHEESE?

Hi @MOMMAVik !  I live a ways straight north of you and don't get down that way much, but thanks for the information, I have heard of it!

Right now I usually go to a little cheese shop outside of Pulaski (yes, they still polka there, LOL!!) off hwy 29 called Laneys for colby and curds.  I used to live near Colby, WI, birthplace of colby cheese and go to the actual cheese factories in the area, but that was many years ago.

Love living in WI, always appreciated the green and varied landscapes and am a big Packers fan!

Enjoy your cheese!

The one cheese that I don't like is Feta because of the crumbly, dry texture.

On a salad, it is perfection, also crumbled over giardiniera on any kind of sub.
