Just made rice with my new rice cooker. The rice was fully cooked fluffy, and not burned on the bottom. It is so easy to use....a no brainer.

I made a 2 egg small quiche in mine today. It came out perfect in 20 minutes.

Just used mine this morning for the first time and made basic white rice. Easy and came out better than I expected. I have never owned a rice cooker and this made it so easy.
I agree about the included recipies. They sound delicious, but not something I would do.
I wish these recipie booklets included more everyday things, like eggs and mac&cheese and ingredients I am likely to have around.
In any event, so far so good, I hope everyone who purchased has continued luck with theirs.

Buckeyenut, I just rec'd cookbook yesterday and found many recipes that I'd like to try - all types of familiar comfort food recipes with things you're likely to have on hand. I.E., beef pot roast, chicken and noodles, beef and barley stew, banana bread, flan, smothered pork chops. I especially like that most recipes are usually limited to 8 and under ingredients.
Didn't order the TSV as I already own his larger rice cooker, so I'm happy that Marian has listed the conversions for the TSV, 3 cup and 5 cup cookers.

I make the best rice ever, all sorts - jasmine, basmati, long grain white, wild rice, pilaf and on and on in my microwave. Never burnt, never over or undercooked. Perfect. The last thing I need is another gadget to stow away in a cupboard or leave on the counter. Just no room for unnecessary appliances.

Funny how different we can be. To me, the microwave is unnecessary and I almost never use it. It's my unnecessary appliance. My toaster oven is more important.

Same here. I use my microwave, but not often. Only to warm food up. My Breville I use ever other day for something.
