I thought I saw Jan make a zucchini soup yesterday with the tsv, but it is not included in the recipe link provided.

Did anyone see it and know the recipe??

I don't have Jan's recipe but do have one that is easy and very good.

3med zucchini, cut into chunks

1/2 sml onion, quartered

2 cloves garlic

32 oz reduced sodium chicken broth.

Combine in large pot over med heat and bring to boil. Lower heat, cover, and simmer until tender - about 20 min. Remove from heat and puree. (Can use your Vitamix, - I used an immersion blender).

Stir in 2 TBs sour cream, salt, pepper. Serve with sprinkle of parmesan cheese.

Can be eaten hot or cold. (I like it cold for the summer)

I'm assuming that this can be done completely in the VM, but I prefer not to let my VM run that long - the noise annoys me.

I have that same problem with the noise. So I prepare all soup recipes on the stove first then puree. I also think I'm making the machine last longer.

FYI...............Williams-Sonoma sells a quiet Vitamix. 40% quieter, 750 series.

Vitamix itself, sells one called the "Quiet One". However, I think it's upward of $1K.

QVC's looks like an older model.
