Vitamix presentations...poor Jan.

How tired of the same demonstration...over, and over, and over again must Jan get?

I sure hope his paycheck is big, because he deserves it.

Totally agree; love his presentations though, even though they are repetitious. I seem to learn something new, or get a better understanding of something every time he is on.

I guess the upside is that he doesn't have to keep reinventing the wheel.

What I find amazing about Jan's demos is that he is able to go through his entire repertoire of recipes with a variety of machines that do not have the same features. It probably isn't a big deal as long as the models all sport a variable speed control, but when he has to create the same recipes or perform the same functions while using a one speed or two speed model, that has to be difficult. Nevertheless, he carries it all off with aplomb.

It is kind of a bummer.

I remember after I had finally purchased my Vitamix (got it from Vitamix, not QVC) and I thought it would be fun to watch some presentations on QVC to get some ideas and tips.

Well, every time I did, it was the same stuff over and over, ad nauseam. I finally stopped watching.

Yes he probably is tired of them but not everyone has seen them before. I feel sorry for him because the hosts always jabber so much he can barely show what the machine can do!

With these big ticket items, like Bose, mattresses, Lazy Boys, people probably need to see these presentations over and over and over and over before they commit.

Re: Vitamix presentations...poor Jan.

I saw him make the margarita twice this time around. But I came in BOTH times at exactly the same point...he was putting the lemon, lime and orange into some liquid.

Can anyone tell me what the liquid was (tequila maybe) and how much?

Thanks in advance!!

And did Jan lose weight? He looked different this time. {#emotions_dlg.confused1}

If you think Jan gets tired, consider the Orthoheel guy with his magic marker. He's on a lot more often than Jan.
