Yesterday at Costco and watching a Vitamix demo. I was once again, discussing the wet blade container vs dry blade. ...I did learn one new thing - once you grind your flour, you can go ahead and add your eggs, and other ingredients to the dry container and make your bread dough. He stated that it will tumble the doughball just above the blades and does a good job of kneading. I already knew that the blade IS different in the dry container and instead of pulling ingredients down into the blade to liquefy or thoroughly mix - the dry container blade pushes the grain/ingredients up out of the blade so it will not turn the grain into a 'peanut butter' as the wet blade would. I do not own a dry container, I'm not into grinding my own flour, and I stopped baking bread a few years ago (enough of that!) so I will not be buying one, but I do own the Vitamix Creations Elite and it is a fantastic machine
