I've been waiting for the TSV to see all the great demos before making my purchase. I also visited a fitness blog recently that completed an exhaustive review and comparison of all of the Vitamix models and ultimately recommended the reconditioned Vitamix sold at William Sonoma with the traditional 7-year warranty as the best value. The 500 series sell for $450 and the 650 series sells for $600 both machines come with an instructional DVD. Well, I thought the Q offer was better (the 5-year warranty notwithstanding), but I decided to drop by WS yesterday before making my purchase from the Q. Well, I was floored that all their machines were an additional 40% off, making my purchase $270. I was so happy to score a higher level machine with a longer warranty for such a great price.
