What a pain! Did it say how long the turn-a-round would be on fixing it?
I never use the thing. I requested the replacement instead of the GC since I wouldn't want to buy anything else for an item that collects dust!
Rats...not sure it is worth the effort....is that their plan I wonder? That many of us won't bother?
To be honest, the few times I have used it, I never saw any black flecks or defects in the blade.

Just to reiterate for those jumping in to this thread,
the class action lawsuit is an either/or:
Either
-a new blade to be replaced by the owner
or
-$70 email gift code for the use on the Vitamix website
I applied my $70 towards a new 48oz low profile canister.
I received it last week...perfect how it fits nicely under the cabinets.
I also asked for the gift card so I could buy the low profile container. Have not ordered it yet. I thought about buying a new machine but should just order the smaller container & be done with it.
