Re: Vidalia onion time again

@Still Raining

My sister loathes onions and I am not sure if I go a day without eating something made with onions. She also doesn't like garlic. I've often asked her how she cooks anything. I've also told her many times ONE of us must be adopted. We don't look alike at all...not our bodies, nose, eyes, etc etc.

Re: Vidalia onion time again

@Still Raining    my husband wouldn't touch one with a 10 ft pole

I eat 'em like a apple.   Every time I go to a fast food drive thru I'll say

"cheeseburger with onion only"   they put on pickles old sour dills.

I throw out the window LOL

 @Gaga my mouth literally salivated, no joke. I. Love. Onions. Thanks. I'm going to have to try that pie.i think I'll add an herb to the mixture, perhaps marjoram and/or thyme ( love to cook with dried or fresh herbs when I can).

I think Morris Farms where I get mine is taking orders for shipment in May , now.

I called and left a # for them to call me back. You can order online, but, it goes thru PayPal and I don't want to fool with them.

Just a reminder !

I ordered mine over a month ago from Ares Farm in Ga. This will be my 4th year, and I'm on his records, and he has my crdit card #, just have to check what size pound bag I want. They will ship I believe the end of april,

Re: Vidalia onion time again

I checked that out. Expensive. Morris farms is 28.00 for a 10lb. box of medium size free shipping.   They might be better, but, I'll get along with the other.
