I think Morris Farms where I get mine is taking orders for shipment in May , now.

I called and left a # for them to call me back. You can order online, but, it goes thru PayPal and I don't want to fool with them.

Just a reminder !

Re: Vidalia onion time again

I live in GA where Vidalia is located, and our local grocery stores have had them for a couple of weeks now.

I love onions, put them in almost everything, and garlic too.  I am in Reno and we have them in our stores, at least usually we doSmiley Happy

My favorite recipe for Vidalia onions is to core the onion almost completely through, add 1 beef bouillon cube (low sodium if you prefer) and 1 tbls. of butter in the middle of the onion, wrap in foil, and either grill or place in 350 oven) for 45 minutes.

Open, add some cheese of your choice (I prefer mozzarella or provolone), pop under the broiler to melt and you have the best 'French onion soup', you ever tasted!

Serve with toast points or as a side dish to other meals or grilled foods.

@KingstonsMom

OMG ... I'm going to try this w/ melted brie over the top. It sounds so delicious and easy. Thanks for sharing!

@SharkE   Thank  you  for the timely reminder.  It was already on my mind to order next week.  And you are the one who introduced me to this wonderful source for  Vidalias.

Best,

Re: Vidalia onion time again

Isn't it odd that the world is divided by onion eating?  Those of us who love them are perplexed when we raise a hater 🧅
