Take two large glass vases, fill with a bit of water and buy fresh carrots with a bunch of big green stems still on them. Put them in the two vases with the carrots towards the bottom and the green leaves spreading over the top. Next, take 3 Mason jars and fill them with a bit of water and bunches of aspargus. Around the vases and Mason jars, put colored eggs. Trust me, this looks cool. You can even put a touch of die in the water for a better presentation. This is waaay cooler and different than a floral centerpiece and less expensive. Plus, it's easy, everyone has vases of some sort. If you don't die the water, you can cook still cook the asparugus the next day to eat as well as the carrots. The reason for 2 vases and 3 Mason jars (or other smaller vases) is because it's more visually appealing when groups are in odd numbers and different heights.
