Vanilla Bean Prices Went Down!

Today they were 5 bucks a pop (I got 6) at the local farmer's market. Pint of Jack (they were out of J.Beam) was $14.95. Total cost $45.00.

 

Last time I made a pint, December of 2019, the liquor was $10.00 and the vanilla beans were $7.00 (got 7). Total cost  $59.00.

 

I knew I should have gotten more vanilla beans!!

 

Are you finding the same in your neck of the woods?

I got mine at the Fresh Market yeaterday.  They weren't $5.00 but are very large and soft.

Don't know about vanilla beans but I noticed 2 things were down in price since the last time I was there. It was bacon and eggs. Made me feel a little better to see something go down instead of up always.
