This is awful! The camera jumps and wobbles and goes so quickly from shot to shot I was dizzy in the first five minutes! They went so fast through the recipes it was pointless to talk about them. But the jumping, moving camera. . . oh my I can't watch that. I'm out.

What new show? More information is needed.

OP is referring to her new show on Food Network.
I watched it and noticed nothing unusual about the camera work. I didn't see any jumping or wobbling, and I certainly didn't get dizzy. It was fun to see Betty White.
OP, I hope you feel better soon.

LOL!!! Thanks and maybe I'm just dizzy to begin with. That's possible (probable?). Anyway, the camera work was a mess. I've worked in enough tv in my day to know the editing was pretty bad and some of the zooms had motion to them. But again, I have gotten dizzy over things others don't sometimes. Motion sick. . . just me.

Hey Dizzy!
I have it recorded, but haven't watched yet. I'll look forward to seeing how it goes with THIS dizzy broad.
I noticed in the Tivo guide, when I scheduled this show, that she was having her 'Hot in Cleveland' cohosts on this episode so that sounded like big fun!

Oh no. . . Now I have a new nickname don't I?
OK. I will be interested to see what you think! Yes, the pieces with the ladies were fun, but the recipes went so long (or my attention span was so short) I didn't get much out of that.
So, on a scale of 1 to 10--HOW DIZZY WAS IT? Ha ha!

Ok, dizzy girl - I just watched the show.
I enjoyed it. I felt like she described her cooking pretty well. Now, I'm in the 'been cooking for over 50 years' club so I don't need 'splainin' but it seemed like she did a good job of describing what she was doing and a tip here and there for people who haven't cooked since the beginning of time.
I enjoyed the opening bit with them all sitting at the table. Then she made the panna cotta and the quiche and I thought she did a great job with that.
All in all, I found her extremely pleasant and the group vibe was fun and felt pretty honest. I can see maybe what was the jumping camera thing, when they'd all be at the table toward the end and they would go from close up to close up, instead of just panning the whole table while they talked. I guess they figure it's better to do a close up of each woman as they spoke instead of a wide shot of the whole table.
I liked it, though. I have my own sensory challenges, due to tinnitis, so I did notice that in the beginning of the first cooking segment I had to adjust my hearing to sound that seemed rather sharp and tinny. After a bit I guess I acclimated and it didn't bother me.
I will continue to watch. I'm no dizzier for the experience. ![]()

Not good at all! Like Home Ec basic 101. How to teach your child to cook.

I always liked her, but I don't think the show will last. Ho hum, at best.
If they make enough episodes they'll iron out the production kinks. My DH is a film/tape editor. He walked in and said the audio was awful.
I wish they wouldn't make every cooking show into a sitcom. More cooking and less BS would suit me.

I enjoyed the show but I have to say I was more glad to see the Barefoot Contessa come back with new shows again.
I agree with House Cat, I would like to see more pure cooking but she is so good with her guests I very much enjoyed the show.
