My over range microwave shorted out yesterday and we immediately went to Lowes to replace it but installation isn't until March 6th. It'll. Be hard to be without it for over a week! Thank heavens for our Breville Air Fryer;we'll survive!

@patbz Installing a microwave is very easy! We've never had anyone install the many microwaves we've had throughout the years.

Unless it doesn't fit the space the old one was in.

ETA: Lifting and holding it while someone else plugs it in, especially for an over the range microwave, and also be difficult especially as you get older.

Re: Using my air fryer for more---

I have a 1000 watt air fryer & a I think 700 watt air fryer. I also have one in my oven. We have had all 3 in use at the same time.

If our microwave quits working we a small one DH used at work. We have one a little bigger one we used during our kitchen remodel.
