Used my Masterbuilt turkey fryer for the first time.

It arrived last week and Saturday we fried a chicken in it. Just the chicken and some seasonings, no flour dredge or anything. We were all really impressed. The skin was so incredibly crispy. I'm really happy we bought this one and I'm going to toss my old smaller fryer. We can finally fry a whole meals worth at once instead of in stages.

We have done turkey breast two years In a row for Thanksgiving. They are always delicious. I just don't want to drain the fryer and clean it afterwards. I know, it's really not that hard but I hate getting stuck with that chore! Lol

Hi luvthatboxer,

How soon after the breasts are finished cooking in the fryer do your serve it? Is it still moist? I recall frying a 12 lb turkey a few years ago which was incredibly moist, tender and delicious on Thanksgiving but the leftovers the following day were kind of dry.

Did you get the one that you use oil or oil free? I have been thinking about getting the oil free. It has very good reviews.
