Hadn't checked back on this thread for awhile. Hope your order came and in good condition. Mine should be delivered tomorrow. I'm hoping they nest down into the two biggest pieces. I'm surely running out of room!

My set arrived the other day, and boy, it sure is a lot of pieces.

The bigger ones with handles look to me like they would hold a five pound bag of sugar, but maybe not the flour.

Lots of smaller pieces, and some folks do get frustrated with the tiny ones. I'd say there is easily a way to divide this set in two (it comes boxed that way, half of the smaller ones in each of the larger containers) and gift it. If this is something on your radar for showers, weddings, birthday's or holiday, I think it's a great deal to divide for two very nice gifts.

Thank you for posting this. Got in Capri blue, like I need more like a hole in the head, but I need more rectangles. Those go easily in the fridge in the cooling drawer and stack better for me than rounds.

I wonder how pink is that flamingo color!?

Mominohio -- I'm glad you got yours and like it. It is definitely a great buy and I am thinking about getting a second set!

In the meantime -- do you or anyone reading this get white marks inside your L&L. They look kind of nasty and definitely don't come out. If you have any idea what they are from, I would really appreciate some advice. Or, if anyone has a number for L&L, I would also appreciate that.

3dlovely: I had the same happen with many pieces of mine. The only thing I can think is the microwave when the container gets too hot. I believe it etches/pits the plastic. I now use Sistema (purchased at Bed Bath & Beyond). LNL only for storage yet I've weeded them out (plastic) and have replaced with Pyrex glass storage with locking lids.

Those white etched spots sure do make the piece look terrible. I have the four bowl set with two vented lids and two unvented lids, so I would think they were totally made for microwaving. My DH loves them to warm up leftovers, but after a while, they are covered with the white marks and not appealing at all. I'm going to give Sistema a try and follow your lead and use the other L&L pieces for storage. Thanks!

I had vowed to myself to not use any credit cards for a month just to prove to myself I was strong. Now the devil is on my shoulder tempting me.

I love those big rectangular ones with a handle! I have about 3 that I had purchased at a fabulous price at Burlington-- then they ran out. They seem to fit just great into my refrigerator for shelled out watermelon , whole chicken, & large cassoroles. The smaller ones can always be used for 'dibs & dabs' --which usually end up migrating to the back of the fridge looking like a penicillin experiment.

Oh well I guess I could just buy it instead of using a credit card and keep my word to myself.
