Some ideas for anyone deciding on keeping their new VM. This morning's smoothie: Almond milk, raw steel cut oatmeal, plain nonfat yogurt, sliced unpeeled apple, raw carrot, raw spinach, frozen mixed fruit, brown sugar. Everything came from Aldi's. The color was not pleasant because of all the spinach, (sort of green/gray) but very tasty. I NEVER would have eaten all of this raw food without the VM. It was non-fat, with lots of nutrition, and very filling. It was NOT low in sugar d/t brown sugar and naturally occuring sugar from the fruit. I never would have gotten the same smooth texture from my Ninja.
The following link is to a VM website. I made the soup recipe yesterday and it was very good.

The Vitamix is not for everyone. I think it's a tool to augment your lifestyle. It makes it easy to add healthy items to your diet, that you may not normally eat.
