Re: Two questions about these multi-purpose cookers

I'm waiting on delivery of the Vortex.  I figure I'm smart enough to use it, perhaps not so with the more expensive ones that do more things.  What tipped me over was checking on the wattage of the burners and the oven on my glass top range.  All that power to bake two potatoes?  (I don't like them in the microwave)  So not much money is risked if I don't like this concept.

Re: Two questions about these multi-purpose cookers

I have a Kitchenaid toaster oven that also has a bake, broil and warm function.  Since I use the toaster function the most, that's the first thing to quit working. Doesn't matter how much I pay, the toaster function always quits after a couple of years. So now I also have a stand alone toaster. I don't see the need for a toaster  oven with an air fryer or convection type oven. But of course it's like buying a car, even though you don't want all the extras, that's what you get and have to pay for.
