OK, I have a 21 lb. turkey that I put in the refrigerator on Sunday about 8pm. It appears to still be partially frozen. The Butterball line is closed. I don't want to be up all night changing the water every 30 minutes to thaw it. I know you are not supposed to heat it to thaw it. What do you think about putting it in the garage (48 degrees) in a cooler with snow/ice around it till morning. Since it is partially frozen, perhaps, just cooking it longer might also work?
Thanks for your help.
