Turkey Horror Stories Add yours

I have a friend who cooks her turkey from frozen with the goodie bag in it. After she said that, I made a mental note never eat her turkey. She said it was so moist. Smiley Sad

Another friend cooks her turkey part of the way, then finishes it the next day. (Another mental note not to eat her turkey) Smiley Sad

The idea of cooking the turkey for an hour at high heat, cutting it down or off, then letting it set overnight in the oven is not a good idea. I'm glad Alton said it was not a good idea. Certainly not GOOD EATS.
