*BEWARE* OLD Tupperware. Old plastics are not healthy for us to use. We didn't know that years ago when we purchased it.

I haven't bought Tupperware in decades yet still use the cereal bowls every day. I have newer ceramic bowls but what do I reach for? The Tupperware.

I have purchased Tupperware from Amazon and HSN.  I have a couple of sets from Tupperware itself that are around 20 years old.  I bought the new ones because the 1 gallon pitchers I had were 30 years old when they broke.  Tupperware does stand behind their product, but it is at the price you paid years ago.  I also didn't want any mismatched lids.  The new colors are beautiful.  The sets I have are called Vintage because they are like the old sets, but in newer colors.

There are several who had trouble getting lids to fit.  Mine work just like the old set so I have no complaints and they match my new dishes from Pioneer Woman perfectly.  I know they have redesigned several items which I have not purchased.

With new Tupperware if the lid doesn't fit like I think it should, I get the lid on the empty container and then run the dish through the dishwasher.  The lids always fit after that.  I know I have heard of a lot of women who thought the lids didn't fit, but didn't know they were Servalier lids which are sealed by pushing the middle of the seal.

I also like my glass boscillicate glass dishes very much, expecially for heating things up.  I do have an older set of Tupperware that is made for the microwave and stacks.  I use it several times each week. It has seals and freeezer containers.  Not problems!!!

I have been using Tupperware since I had my first party over 52 years ago.  I still have the Hostess gift I received.  It was a yellow canister set with 4 canisters.  I have it stored and don't have the heart to put it in my give away stash.  I will be interested to see if manufacturing in Mexico makes a difference in the quality.

I just bought a set of canisters in pastel colors from HSN and am very happy with them. I get most of my other Tupperware from Goodwill, believe it or not. Many of the pieces are in brand new condition; they really stand the test of time. I'm sad to see them leave the U S. That seems to be the norm nowadays. 😥

Since it cant go in the microwave, I have no real use for it, much prefer my Anchor Hocking or Pyrex glass for storage

I was watching a presentation on HSN the other day and was reminded of the old Tupperware Party days.
I used to love to go to them, but never hosted.

I bought the 4 color...pink, orange, yellow and green cereal bowls and cups. Had the bowls forever, and the cups even longer.  They were the same colors as fruit loops. 😝

I used to make jello in the cups and my kids loved the size!

I bought the ice pop holders too and would pour fruit juice in them.
The only remaining items are my cake carrier and a long clear rectangular container.

I threw away my chip and dip set when I reorganized my kitchen during the pandemic.

It was perfect, it just took up too much space and I never used it.

I have no need for this line anymore, but the items look awesome.

In 2010, new Tupperware no longer had BPA. Older Tupperware than 2010 still had harmful chemicals/BPA.
