Love @ciao_bella the Anchor Hocking glass sets. Mine are work horses in the kitchen being a scratch big batch cook. The 4-cup and 7-cup get used the most. I have over a dozen containers in just those two sizes.

Clean up with glass is a dream, no mystery what is inside, and stackable in the refrigerator. Folks open my frig and stand in marvel. LOL! Easy peasy with Anchor.

All I remember about Tupperware is that it would stain and blister.

It also had some ugly colors!

@brandiwine- Actually the set is for 8 bowls and 8 lids, which makes the 16 pieces.  Not like L&L which lists the actual number of containers not including the lids.  Had many sets of Tupperware and went to lots of parties decades ago.  All the canister lids and bowl lids cracked.  Not a fan anymore as certain sets can go in the freezer, certain sets for the microwave, the rest just for pantry storage or fridge.  Prefer L&L, especially the tritan. Also, too pricey for what you get.

@ciao_bella I love my Anchor Hocking set that was a TS from HSN about a month ago!  I have used it a lot and I like that the lids fit very well and don't have those tabs that Lock & Lock have which always break off!

It was a set of sculpted rounds of 18 (including lids) for $23.96.  881-309.  It's now $54.95.

I had nearly all of that type of tupperware--but not in those colors--just the browns, orange and avo green. Got rid of most of them years ago. Not going to buy any--have way too much storage stuff as it is.

HSN has a great TS on Tupperware today.  Great color choices as well.  Under $40 for 16 pieces.

I ordered the multi color.  I have glass, however Tupperware is the only plastic I like.  I have seen tupperware in thrift stores.  I don't believe it is ever thrown away.  I remember going to tupperware parties they were always fun.  I know I have some in storage someplace lol.

I have this set and I purchased some from Walmart.  They wash up so well.  I had to have the tupperware though lol.

Remember when I posted here about the Closing sales of Tupperware and I fell for it?  It was a scam and I got nothing, but they have my money.  So when I saw this thread, I thought of that scam, and was afraid to order anything, so ordered some Anchor Hocking instead from Amazon, it's coming in 2 days.

I hope no one else fell for that scam like I did.
