If you cannot find TJ's peach champagne, try Barefoot Moscato Spumante or Barefoot Peach Fusion. Both are very good. (as is everything we've tried from this brand)

I have 2 TJ's near me, both less than 5 miles, and neither sell alcohol. Always a bummer when I hear how fantastic their wines are.

The Barefoot sparkling wines are good suggestions for those that can't find the TJ's, and also in the same price range as well!

About the Ikea Lingonberry sparkling beverage.. it is pretty because it is dark pink... and also, to me, the taste is not sweet, sweet ... so it tastes like an alcoholic beverage.

Thanks for all those suggestions. I'm thinking Prosecco for NYE, which I got to like on an Italian ship last summer. I bought the little stopper device the butler used to keep the opened bottle in the fridge. It has arms that pull down and lock onto the bottle to keep bubbly bubbly. Since I can't finish an entire bottle, it's a good thing. I've never drunk Moscato, however. Maybe I'll give it a try. I loved Asti as a college kid, but it's now a bit sweet for me.

If you like the drier sparkling wines then prosecco is definitely the way to go. Barefoot has a nice prosecco too. Barefoot's fusions and moscatos (berry, peach, citrus, moscato spumante and pink moscato champagne) are all on the sweet side. The least sweet would be red moscato champagne, pinot grigio champagne, prosecco and of course brut.

Asti is actually moscato (made from white Moscato grapes) and there's also Moscato d'asti which is a little less sparkling than asti. If you don't like Asti now then you most likely will not enjoy a normal moscato either. Moscato is the sweetest grape you can find. I'd also stay away from riesling as well as those are also typically sweeter. You'd probably enjoy a crisp pinot grigio, a lightly oaked chardonnay or even a sauvignon blanc instead. Smile
