Why do you say Trader Joe's is odd, we have a very small one up the street and it always crowded and their staff is the nicest I have met at any retail establishment

Yes it is! But that's what makes it great! WF is much to pricey for me.

I agree 100%. I need to go after work this week now that my baseball season has finished.

Trader Joe's is more expensive to me, than WholeFoods. Trader Joe's is odd, in my opinion, because no matter who you ask, different days, different person, you won't get a solid answer. Try it. Take one of their organic soy milks, for example. Ask one of the TJ people, "Is this non-GMO?" Get that answer. Then ask the same question another day to another person, "Is this non GMO?". You'll get another answer.
I'm very particular to what I consume. I'm not a food snob. But honestly, the TJ environment, of the shoppers (and I've been to enough to get a good "feel" of the place), but anyway, the shoppers seem like food snobs, buying food because, "Hey look at me, I shop at TJ!". I am not saying this about anyone here, really, I'm talking about where I'm shopping, and to be honest, much of this state is like this, sort of like the "I only drink at Starbunks" mentality. But, not at WholeFoods. It seems, to me, that there isn't this odd-type shopper who is oohing over the word organic, or pawing at a trendy flavor chip. WholeFoods feels like a place for the best nutrition outlet there is--and it is.
WholeFoods is less money because you know what you are buying, it's nutrition. And the people who work there take your questions seriously and are well-informed because they happen to be selling food--which is important.
Also WholeFoods knows what is and what is not GMO. "Whole Foods Market commits to full GMO transparency." From WFM Newsroom.
Also, at Whole Foods, you can relax and not spend time reading the fine print to what has hydrogenated fats. Why? They will not sell it!

OMG, I picked up the Pumpkin Caramel Kringle and its was amazing. Thought I should bring one home for everyone to try. There is a bakery in Wisconsin who makes them: O and H Danish Bakery and you should see all the flavors. You can order them online. I think I'm going to order the Chocolate and the Cheese flavors. Of course if TJ continues to carry them then I can get them there. Everyone was crazy about it!!!!
