Tortuga Rum Cakes from the Caribbean

This may not interest anyone but me, but I want to share that HSN has a "Today's Special 2" offering of a 3-piece Tortuga Rum Cake set.  I flipped over these rum cakes ever since I took a Cayman Island trip over a decade ago.  For me, Christmas dessert solved.

Those are really, really good. We usually have a couple in the office each year around Christmas and they are so yummy and rich.

That's good news!  Whenever I go to the Caribbean I bring back a suitcase full of these delicous cakes because everyone in my family loves them and they don't stay around very long so they are always in demand.

I didn't get the tsv but I ordered a different combo -Golden Rum Cake and Florida Coconut Rum Cake duo for $39.95.

 

After all the cooking I hardly ever get dessert because I am too tired and I can never find a dessert that I really want so this worked out perfect.
