The staff of our Community has been great thru this pandemic.  Whether it's keeping up on the latest guidelines, helping residents, keeping take out for meals from dining room or just making sure all is well.

Fridays I usually either bake or buy them lunch & have delivered.

Today, I baked.  

Lemon bars, pecan brownies and fun cupcakes...

For once my spouse said save me some -- he hardly eats dessert or sweets!. I'll take that as a compliment!!

I do enjoy helping others & was brought up by a dad who taught us "always help or do for others".  Plus, kindness certainly goes a long way...

My family is up north and I miss them more now than ever.  This keeps my mind busy (scary times in NY/NJ/PA) and I know the staff looks forward to it on Fridays.

Pecan pieces -- trying to use it nuts I have.  I toasted them before I added to brownie mix and on top.

And M&Ms since I know my good friend (a waitress) loves M&Ms.  I knew she'd pick brownies!!
