I love the pegboard idea for hanging pots and pans on S-hooks. We did this in an apartment once and would do it now, but I have no wallspace for it. I love being able to see my pots and pans. I remember seeing a pic of Julia Child's kitchen and she, too, used pegboard.

I have a medium sized kitchen which was remodeled a few years ago, during that time we decided to take a coat closet right outside the kitchen and turn it into a pantry...it works great and the coats can go elsewhere lol!!!
