I dropped Cooks Illustrated and now only get Cook's Country. Don't buy many cook books any longer since I just don't feel much like cooking any more. Somebody on another thread here mentioned a website called Budget Bytes. I love it - will probably try a few reciepes from there.
I have a binder of recipes that I've printed from QVC forums.
If I do buy a new cookbook - I read lots of reviews first and often see if I can find it in a local used bookstore first or borrow it online from a library.
For some reason, I prefer cookbooks to be "real" books ........not ebooks.

I got rid of my cookbooks a long time ago. I have created my own recipe box through All Recipes.com. I also use the Food Network so I can peruse the various shows and recipes.
I have a FB account and many recipes come to me through friends.

The only cooking magazines I take are Cuisine at Home and Eating Well. I am always tearing recipes that look interesting to me out of other magazines, newspapers, etc. I have many cookbooks but do not often refer to those. If a new cookbook comes out now that I am interested in I check to see if the library has it. I take a few cooking classes every year at the local co-op also.
