Grocery had a one day sale on five pounds of flour and sugar. 99 cents each and no limit. Using my foodsaver to store long term

I wouldn't use that much flour and sugar in a lifetime.   Now, I would buy it and share it with a food pantry for sure!

Food grade buckets with gamma lids work really well for bulk storage too and you can leave the food in it's original packaging.

nice!  That would work for me. I go through a lot of sugar making hummingbird nectar all season long.

I LOVE the idea of sharing this with a food bank. What a wonderful idea.

The problem with many food banks (not busting on them just stating this) they have so many rules and regulations that must be met, it's very difficult to donate food.  They want money, not food.

I do bake, but not in the quantity to need to buy in that amount. Nor do I have storage room for that much. The Food Bank is a wonderful idea though.

Great deal.  I remember when they would be the weekly special for 69.  Back in the day.......no longer!
