Aaarrghhh!! I have a reasonably-sized collection of TT. But, I'm having particular trouble with a reliable confetti 9x13 lid-it. I originally purchased K34825 10/11/2011. It broke in the oven 2/16/2012, and TT CS replaced it at no cost to me. That replacement broke 7/23/2012. I contacted TT CS again, and this time it cost me $9.95 for shipping. The replacement arrived within two weeks, and I had such high hopes. This particular replacement felt heavier, so I assumed this one was going to be a keeper for the long haul. I've used it numerous times since receiving it, and last week I noticed a long semi-crack with a surrounding cloudiness. Turned it over and saw the same thing. The crack hasn't yet extended to the rims. But if I run a fingernail over the cloudy crack, there's a definite catch of my nail. So bummed!! I love my lid-its, but I don't want to keep paying $9.95 for a replacement. If I'm asked to pay shipping charges again, I'm essentially paying $20+ dollars for one 9x13 lid-it. Decisions, decisions. I'm hoping TT CS will come through for me and do the right thing on their part.

Do I need to wait for a full-blown crack, or can I call for a replacement based on what the piece looks like now and the inevitable about to happen? I've seen this cloudy-type half-crack before and it's going to eventually split wide open.

I'm annoyed that this will be my fourth replacement, yet I do love my TT. I've never had a bit of trouble with any other pieces.
