The New Keurig Vue System

As others have noted, the new Keurig Vue System is here. I saw and touched it at Bed, Bath and Beyond yesterday. As we've seen, its price is $249.99 If you use one of those readily available 20% off coupons that would make it $199.99 -- not all that different than what many have paid for the Keurig Platinum. As someone else mentioned there's supposed to be a Keurig Today's Special Value on April 1st. If that's accurate, it most certainly will be the new Vue. Still it would be very difficult to consider the new Vue when one has a perfectly functioning Platinum.

I liked what I saw though admittedly the little video that ran next to the machine wasn't very detailed. The Vue V700 has a larger footprint than the Keurig Platinum and that might be an issue for some. I don't know how soon it will happen, but there will likely be other models of the Vue in time. The Vue V700 is only available currently in black. In time that too will probably be available in other colors.

I'm also guessing (hoping?) that the problems that have plagued some of the existing Keurigs will have been solved.
