The Kitchen Aid TSV

I have a small KA stand mixer that I inherited from my Mom. She used this mixer to make bread and wedding cakes etc. She was quite a baker. When I look at the TSV I can't help but think that there are very few cooks who really need such a large mixer. I am a fan of KA products so this isn't a bash on them at all - I just can't imagine NEEDING such a large mixer since my mother did just fine with her small one, baking wedding cakes and such.
