I thaw meat in the refrigerator.  If you use the counter top, you're lucky.  Your cooking method has killed the bacteria....this time.

Your method may have popped up around Thanksgiving with the discussion of how to thaw a turkey if you didn't have 4 days to thaw in the refrigerator.
