i am not sure i could ever do something like this because thanksgiving is a very traditional sit down meal for us.

i do LOVE the look and the idea though. i would so do this on a day OTHER than thanksgiving. it looks beautiful and i love small plates/appetizers/bites.

I agree about Thanksgiving. We don't have a lot of traditions in my family, since there are so few of us, but I do like a sit down dinner for Turkey Day. I would consider a tasting party for Christmas Day. We never seem to have a big dinner on Christmas Day. Those pies are so pretty!
