Re: Thanksgiving Staple that you don’t like

Sweet potatoes, squash, and pumpkin pie. It's a yellow/orange vegetable thing, even if technically some are fruit.

Corn. Canned jellied cranberry stuff -- my Mom used to just plop the mass straight out of the can onto a plate. You could see the ridges from the can.

Is there another way to do it?  I love canned cranberry sauce.  I serve it in what I think is a cut glass butter dish.  Perfect for cranberry sauce and it has a top.

I plop mine into a cut glass oblong bowl that belonged to my grandmother and is well over 150 yrs old.  Perfect size.

Well I like it all but sweet potatoes.  Nobody makes or brings.

I made my pumpkin pies today.

I do not care for traditional green bean casserole🤢, but will eat a version made with home made cream of mushroom soup, fresh caramelized onion; inside and on top with buttery, toasted and seasoned Panko breadcrumbs. YUMMY!😊

Same for me.  It's OK cold in a sandwich with lots of Miracle Whip.

My sister-in-law made corn pudding one year.  I tried one bite and it discreetly went into a napkin.  But I'm not a corn fan in any form except popcorn.  I'll make corn tomorrow for my husband.  I'll have peas.

Is turkey a thanksgiving staple? If yes, I choose turkey. 😊

I'll eat everyone's veggies!

I was never a fan of sweet potato casserole made with orange juice and marshmallows on top.

Thank goodness, I haven't seen any in years!
