I can't remember but I had posted my glass bowl to my new KA tilt head was cumbersome & too heavy for me -- so I wasn't using it as much.

They suggested I could order SS bowl....thank you I did!!! Much better & sold the glass bowl to my friend who wanted one for her mixer.   

I like it it so much better and works perfectly!  Thanks again "whoever" this is why I love this forum I always get good ideas or learn something🙂🙂🙂

I was just thinking of getting a glass mixing bowl. I've always used a glass bowl and am not comfortable using the SS one. To each his own I guess.

BUT- I LOVE the idea of a SS bowl!  Are they available here or at the website or where?

i know they had decorative glass on Zulily a while back, not sure about the SS. 

Worth a quick check. 

I like both of mine, glass is heavy but so sturdy.  SS is so durable.  Can't go wrong with either.

I saw a couple of the glass bowls break on cooking shows (The Great British Baking Show?) and decided they weren't for me.

Thanks to the person, also, who suggested I get a kitchen rack for all my gadgets. I had a small laundry shelving unit in the laundry room to hold bleach, liquids, powders, etc. Took out the small one and put in a taller, wider one and now it's holding my pressure cookers, deep fryer, etc.

Frees up room elsewhere !

Just got at Ace. QVC had prettier ones, but, didn't want to wait 2 wks or more.

If you ever need another rack I would recommend the Origami racks at HSN. They have all kinds of colors (red!), they are very sturdy and they ship fast - much faster than Q.

You can get KA SS bowls at almost any store or website that sells kitchen appliances. Even Amazon. For price try Kohls or BB&Y. Just be sure to get the right size for your mixer.

They look nice but they are very very heavy.
