I was tightening the handle screw on my mini griddle Monday and it popped off and disappeared. I e-mailed T-Fal for the screw size, and they said they would mail me the "unit."

Today I received a new griddle. All they asked of me was the serial number. No proof of purchase, no shipping charge.

T-Fal is owned by the French Groupe SEB, which also owns All-Clad, Krups and Rowenta. Their American warehouse is in Millville, NJ, about 40 miles south of Philly. T-Fal is now manufactured in Vietnam.

You used to be able to shop right in the warehouse but no more. Now they have an online store: HomeandCookSales dot com. Right now there's a factory seconds sale of the entire All-Clad line. Worth a look.

Don't you just love it when a company is so responsive and willing to help/ or fix the problem.  Well done.

I like T-Fal, as well. They have great quality pans. It's good to know that there are still good companies out there.

@PickyPicky3   Thank you for posting this information. I put it on top of my file marked "good to know stuff". Needless to know it hasn't been added to for some time now so this is good.

I own quite a few pieces of All-Clad. All bought at factory seconds sales. I used to go in person, but I don't think they do that anymore. My last couple pieces were bought from the online seconds sale. Love my All-Clad!❤

That is great customer service! I had a couple companies send me things I would have gladly paid for--one time it was a brand new airfryer from the Instant Pot people--just wanted a new handle for the basket !! I certainly did sing their praises online too.
