I decided I should make a comment about this item.  I have read good and bad comments about this brand.  I have never bought anything from it but one year I received a "beauty box" and this spoon rest in white was an additional gift enclosed.  I thought it was an odd item for the box but washed it ( and it quickly fell through into the sink chipping the larger edge).   It still looked perfectly fine and usable.  Let me tell you whatever the reviews for anything else regarding this line, this the best spoon rest I have ever found.  It holds my whisk I use several times a week along with any of the heavier spatulas etc. with out messing the stove top.  All other types I have used never worked for these items.  They were either too narrow, light and tipped over or too small for the width. Sorry it is not available as a single item but this is really perfect. By the way I have had it for several years now and it still is in great shape except for the chip.

Your last sentence is the answer. My older Temptations things were great, I think the newer ones are garbage.

@calgal9   Years ago I got a Temptations woodland mug in a TILI beauty box.  I also thought it was odd, but I use that bubble mug a lot!

@calgal9

I agree!  I have an older single spoon rest from them...and last Fall, I bought a double spoon rest.

They are great!  Terrific design/shape.

I still buy Temp from time to time and have found NO difference in the quality at all from my new pieces to the really old ones.

Inexpensive compared to other lines, looks beautiful (blue floral lace)....no issues for me.

If I did, Temptations has a warranty.
