I have have received products that would be seconds in any store. EMAIL QVC tell them you are not happy and be specific about what was unacceptable about the product. It wont help to post a bad review that they probably never see or post complaints only in this forum. Maybe if QVC was inundated with emails with complaints they will stop looking the other way or worse yet continue to say the slop is ""handpainting.
Even better SNAIL MAIL your comments to QVC--- I did that and have received a call from QVC Corporate.

I think instead of expanding her line and adding all sorts of home accessories ....she even had candle holders and candles at Christmas time. I think she should take a step back and concentrate on quality control.
A friend ordered a dinnerware set and 2 of the plates had thumb prints on them...

Thank you for agreeing Spurt.
That is exactly what I have been saying all along.
Temptations is long overdue in addressing and resolving all consumer complaints, and dangerous accidents which have occurred and been reported, due to product defects issues.
They have to first fix the defects in their manufacturing procedures, then create more dependable reliable consumer safe TT products, if they truly care to restore consumer trust, product integrity and safety, as well as honesty in all their televised and internet promises and presentations.
That will be the only way to restore consumer trust.
Temptations profits are fine, but not at the expense of consumer safety, and product dependability.
The safety of human beings while using their products should come first before anything else, because their profits are received when the consumers make their Temptations product purchases.

Things usually go so nice in these forums, most of the time even when others comes to tell their stories but a few always have to jump in and try to make trouble...for what good reason??
Sticking to the OP's post, so simple to send it back to the Q for a replacement of refund. If like you say, that is too much of hassle, why even post this thread if you had already made up your mind? no run-a-round at all
You must get paid a LOT by Tara...you seem to pop up on every TT thread.
Replacements may be free, but the shipping and handling certainly isn't - they make a PROFIT from all the replacements too.

Hi Tissyanne,
Your idea seems sound but unfortunately it still would not be real proof.
The reason is because previous to live airing, those TT boxes could have already been opened, checked for defects, substituted other TT items which are defect free, and then resealed again..........and then shown publicly on national television.
The truth is this TT product line has many negative and dangerous defects issues, which have all duly been documented and noted here and across the internet on other web sites, as well as having been reported via written correspondence and telecommunications directly to the Temptations customer service reps, and still to date everyone at Temptations refuses to publicly acknowledge and address all these well know dangerous TT product defects issues....so it is clear to see that profit mean more to Tara and her Temptations affiliates, than producing a reliable consumer safe TT product.
When integrity and reputation disappear and are replaced without any thought or care to product consumer usage safety, and only higher profits matter.......then it is clear to say TT is a brand which now should have a warning label written in on it to state "BEWARE....USE AT YOUR OWN RISK".

I'd absolutely sent it back, just on principle. I completely with you that you shouldn't have to pay Temptations shipping to replace an item that arrived broken.
It's stuff the like this that makes me not purchase in the first place. I've wanted to buy a few sets I've seen and I really love the winter floral lace but I haven't bought any because of these kinds of reports being so common.

Where has anyone from the Q or Temp-tation site gave you anything but the info that you are asking about? You even say that QVC CS were kind enough to give you TT CS number for you to call. Neither the Q or Temp-tation site "hides" any info on what to do for replacements or defects should anyone have a problem. The $9.95 is nothing new to Tara's site and it is not "extra", it is shipping cost. Sorry you had a problem with the lid part but sounds like if you don't want to pack it up & send it back, must not be that bad after all. I know I would not keep something brand new that came with a "crack" piece but that's just me!
Why should the OP have to pay shipping for a replacement of an item that arrived broken?
