Temp-tations arrived today...so bummed

I have many many pieces of Old World including dinnerware. I saw the new soup tureen online the other day and couldn't resist getting it. I ordered it in black and I was so excited when it arrived by UPS today. Until I opened the box. It was broken! And now I have to send it back and that color is sold out. I have never had any issues with Temp-tations and I use it on a daily basis. Love it. So sad about my soup tureen. Hopefully they will bring more back in black.

Did anyone else have this problem? It seems silly to mail back a bunch of broken pieces of ceramic. And a waste of money. But I understand that they want to be sure that someone isn't trying to scam them.
