Is Tara coming out with more of the Temptation's square dinnerware sets? I don't want to waitlist again if not. Appeared others liked also, except some, had a problem with the cups. I will look elsewhere if not, because I liked them!

I heard her and David mention on the last "Cooking on Q" day that she had a lot of "new" coming this year--no specifics. You might want to ask her directly on her website or facebook page.

I liked the square dinnerewear in the fl,. lace blue & romance but it sold out so quickly. I'm hesitate to put items on waitlist anymore because so many reviews state that they think they are returns.  It's disappointing.

DH wanted new dishes and picked a great pattern, except it was square.  We now have several dishes with chips on the edges.

I'm trying to figure out why I have been reading complaints about Tara's line, but yet everyone keeps purchasing.  Do you think they are going to get better?  To keep her price down, do you really think she is buying the best from the best workers?

Before I wasted another cent on this junk made in another country, I would purchase something made here in America -- Fiesta?  Corelle?  They both have lovely place settings and will last a lot longer than the junk made overseas.

They have been using that line since last August.

The TT line is bright and pretty so I'm sure that attracks newer viewers.  I have many sets, but will not order more after reading about all the cracking disasters.   If people don't read here, they will not know how the pieces are easily cracking.  I enjoy the presentations even though they repeat and repeat, but will not be tempted to order more.

I'm a consignment and thrift store junkie, and over the years I've collected a few sets of Temp-tations.  I don't find them often, but when I do, I grab them.  They are generally the older patterns that are no longer offered, and IMO, they hold up much better than the newer ones.  I use them constantly and have never had a problem.  I have had a piece or two crack in the oven, but they were the newer ones.  I firmly believe that the line was made much better in the beginning.  I was never crazy about Old World and wish it would retire, but I do have a couple pieces of the earlier Floral Lace and so far so good.

As I mentioned in another thread, now that manufacturing is starting to come back into this country, my hope is that Tara will consider making some Temp-tations onshore.  I believe the quality would greatly improve and even if the prices were higher, it would be worth it.

I got the weekend deal email and decided to get the set of mini casseroles but can’t get the promo code to work. So I gave up after several tries. Anyone one else purchase these?
