Re: Taco night here, how about at your place?

Meatless Fridays for me ...

I picked up a vegetarian platter (Oasis Mediterranean Cuisine) from the supermarket this morning.   It has

  • Stuffed grape leaves
  • Falafel
  • Hummus
  • Taboule
  • White mini pita

Good Friday for us. We're doing fish.

@Leggett28 - That slow cooker pork recipe looks great - I will definitely try that - IF I can get pork. Smiley Happy

If you're using a conventional oven, covering the crust with foil will work. They do also sell silicone crust covers that would work in the microwave.  The size is adjustable. I got mine and BB&B.

I checked all the BBB in So Joisey & PA.  All out of stock "in store."  Folks hording silicone crust covers? Smiley LOL

Plenty available "online."  I put 2 in my BBB cart to order.  I eat pot pies all year round.  I have a countertop convection oven which can switch to a regular oven.  I tried both options but still come out w/burnt edges.  So........

Burgers & Tator Tots here tongiht.

@Mz iMac, if your pot pie comes in an actual aluminum pan you can clean it and cut the bottom out of it and it will fit over your crust.  Depending on how deep it is, you might want to take a litle off the depth.  That's what I do with regular pies, just a metal pie plate with the bottom cut out.

Coney dogs.....with a lot of chopped onion and shredded cheese on top. Healthy? Not so much. Tasty? Yes!
